Ontario Requires Proof of Vaccination

Yesterday the province, in consultation with the Chief Medical Officer of Health, announced the government will require people to be fully vaccinated and provide proof of their vaccination status to access certain businesses and settings beginning September 22, 2021 to further stop the spread of COVID-19. The system applies to higher-risk indoor public settings including restaurants, nightclubs, gyms and casinos.  For a full list of specified settings, please visit Ontario’s website.

We continue to monitor this situation and will provide further updates as details are ironed out, including the logistics of verifying our guests’ vaccination status in a timely and convenient manner as well as providing communication to our guests on this new process.

The health and safety of you and our guests are a top priority. We continue to follow COVID-19 guidelines and have put in place very stringent health and safety protocols.  At this time vaccines are not mandatory for employees; however vaccinations are an important tool for our community to limit the spread of the virus and the Executive Team and I encourage you to get your shot.  It is an important tool to keep us safe.

This is an evolving situation and we are committed to providing you with updated information.  Please send in your questions to our Ask Us Anything platform and we will post an updated FAQ early next week.  Please visit the links below for further information.
